Wilson Electric was selected by DPR Construction to provide electric services for the new Tucson Electric Power (TEP) facility.
The project included six buildings as well as site work. The site work encompassed site lighting, communications and utility power to all six buildings.
The largest portion of the project was a new ground up 56,000KSF Operations Center. The project scope contained dual utility feed parallel switchgear and a data center for all of TEP operations. Additionally there was a remodel and renovation of the existing 44,000KSF office headquarters building, a new 39,000KSF office building adjacent to the Operation Center that includes offices and cubicles for TEP personnel, a new 16,000KSF connection building which connects the office headquarters building with the Operations Center, a new 4,000KSF training facility with a large conference room and small kitchenette as well as a new 1,000KSF metal fab building at the site entrance for visitor badging.
