Wilson Electric has a partnership with Central Arizona College that offers a certificate program. The compressed program which is Monday through Thursday for 8 weeks, equals a year of the four-year apprenticeship and is full of practical hands-on experience. We hire students directly from the program and they finish their apprenticeship through our in-house program while working.
The Commercial Electrician Installer Certificate prepares individuals for an entry-level position in the commercial electrician field. The program focuses on fundamental knowledge attainted in accordance with the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) standards. Options within the certificate allow individuals to tailor their career pathway with additional skill sets. This certificate also offers the opportunity to obtain national certification from the NCCER.
