The Wilson Electric Services Team is proud to announce our most recent offering, the Wilson Electric Solar Division! WE can offer the design, installation, integration and service for any commercial requirement.

Many members of our new division have several years experience working in commercial electrical and solar projects including Mark Holohan. Marks expertise extends back to his development experience with First Solar and United Solar Ovonic LLC. While working as Sales Director for Uni-Solar’s U.S. commercial market sales division, he managed the solar company’s nationwide sales effort – and was directly responsible for the sale of the two largest Uni-Solar systems in the world: a one-megawatt system at a General Motors facility and a 700 kW system for the Long Beach Convention Center, which are both in California. As president of Code Electric his larger Arizona projects include the Phoenix Convention Center and the Sheriffs Buckeye Hills Shooting Range, both projects generated at least 100kW of power. Marks reputation is well known across the solar market.

Within Arizona the excitement and interest in solar power has been steadily increasing and Wilson Electric Solar is prepared and qualified to provide a wide variety of solar photovoltaic systems.

Our relationship with SunPower allows us to provide solar modules that are 50% more efficient than that of competing module producers. SunPower offers a range of non-penetrating rooftop applications known as PowerGuard and PowerTilt systems:

• PowerGuard is a system of interlocking, pre-engineered solar tiles that lay directly on a rooftop and install quickly without mechanical fastening. The system also features a layer of R-10 insulation for additional energy cost savings of up to 30% – and increases the life of the underlying roof.
• PowerTilt tiles are similar in design but pre-engineered to tilt at a 10-degree angle, enhancing their ability to capture energy – and are half the weight of the insulated PowerGuard tiles.
