Squire, Sanders and Dempsey Tenant Improvement

Located in the downtown CityScape development, is the new home for the Phoenix branch of the award-winning, international law firm, Squire, Sanders & Dempsey, LLP. The branch determined the space was to be as sustainable as it is stunning. The dramatic, yet calming lobby is a showcase of the green materials incorporated throughout. Elements include locally crafted kiln-fired glass panels, recycled terrazzo flooring, rapidly renewable bamboo panels and sustainably harvested wood furniture & acoustical ceilings. Among the most sustainable features of the project is its central location. This allows the occupants to use public transportation and walk to many nearby amenities. Although the project originally targeted LEED certification at the silver level, the committed project team made several changes in the 11th hour including an upgrade to the plumbing and lighting, allowing them to achieve gold level certification as well as long term environmental benefits.
