Employer Paid Life Insurance
All benefit eligible employees are automatically enrolled into an Employer Paid life and accidental death/dismemberment policy on their first day of employment.
Voluntary Supplemental Life Insurance
Eligible employees may also elect to purchase additional amounts of life insurance coverage on themselves, their spouse and/or their dependent child(ren). An employee may apply for as much as $500,000 (or 7 times their annual base earnings); a spouse can request up to half as much of the employee’s life insurance coverage, and dependent children can be covered up to $10,000 for a few cents per week.
An employee's deductions for medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, and the 401(k) retirement plan are all taken on a pre-tax basis. This means that before federal, state, and Social Security taxes are calculated and deducted from an employee's pay, these deductions are used/taken to reduce gross pay and thereby reduce taxes.
Medical insurance coverage is available to all benefit eligible employees and their eligible dependents. Wilson Electric Services Corp. shares the cost with its employees.
Two dental plans are offered. Eligible employees can choose between a prepaid/HMO dental plan and an indemnity/PPO dental plan.
Flexible Spending Accounts
Wilson Electric Services Corp.’s flexible spending accounts allow eligible employees to pay for out-of-pocket benefit expenses (i.e. health care, dental, vision) and dependent care expenses with a Company funded credit card; the funds are repaid to the Company with pre-tax dollars.
Short Term Disability
Short term disability coverage provides income protection.The benefit pays 60 percent of an employee's weekly base salary after 8 calendar days of approved disability.
Long Term Disability
Long term disability coverage provides income protection.This benefit pays 60 percent of an employee's monthly base salary after 25 weeks of approved disability.
All full-time regular employees are eligible to participate in our retirement plan. Wilson Electric Services Corp. offers a generous company match, and employees are fully vested after only one year of employment.
Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)
The primary purpose of this plan is to enable employees of Wilson Electric Services Corp. to share in the growth and prosperity of the Company, and to provide participants with an opportunity to accumulate capital for their retirement needs.The plan is designed to do so at no cost to employees.
